So, adding "ore:dirt" gives the error in game "Error: ore:dirt has more than one entry"
or something along those lines.

I also realized that I didnt Import the oredict/entry lines. So Im gonna go try that and see if that works.

I'm fairly certain the way the mod uses CraftTweaker IIngredients should be supporting oredict out of the box. If not, will revisit.
