When pressing esc anywhere in the config menu, it takes you all the way outside the config menu, to where you were when you pressed the q button - without even asking whether to save or discard changes.

This would be nice to add. I'm swapping this to the 'enhancement' label b/c I'm pretty sure the q menu has always worked like that.

Moving this issue to Zeta since the config screen is handled here now.

Now backs up only 1 level. I didn't add a "save changes" prompt because there's no top-level "discard changes" button on the config screen, pressing escape is how you discard changes (although now that I think about it, that would be kind of nice too)
