The amulet adds the Spectral Vision buff that highlights entities through walls when activated. It gives the buff when activated and the texture and item text change to active but no entities are highlighted.

I've checked, made some research and found out that this issue is about a couple of months ago. I've posted issue reported the issue on theirs github. Now we have to wait and see if they want to do something about that.
