General Info

  • I didn't added any mods
  • I get this issue consistently in single-player
  • I get this issue consistently in multi-player
  • I am crashing and can provide my crash report(s)
  • I am using the latest version of the modpack

Your launcher

Curseforge

Modpack version

4.0.5

Describe your issue

Randomly, especially when generating new chunks, loading old ones, or interacting with dragons from "Ice and Fire" the game will freeze then promptly crash to launcher. The description when this occurs is "exception in server tick loop" and throws the java error "java.util.ConcurrentModificationException: null" (when it even manages to create a crash log)

Steps to reproduce the issue

Occurs seemingly randomly, but more often when loading busy chunks, new chunks, or interacting with dragons from "Ice and Fire" (such as when chaining them along)

latest.log

yet another crash while trying to bring a dragon back to my home for a dragonforge, getting very annoying, especially cause they are always dead when I relaunch the game.

I have also been experiencing the issue from 4.0.(4?) up to the latest 4.0.9 version with an identical stack trace. Curseforge, single-player.

It happens when visiting some generated chunks (seemingly no pattern) so frequently that I try to avoid specific locations in the world. After the crash, I can load back into the game and chunk fine, but there is a high chance it will crash on revisiting it later.

It also happens somewhat rarely when generating new ones. Haven't experienced anything with the dragons, though.

This is a widely recognized issue for all AMD users in Minecraft version 1.20.1. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to resolve it.
