Suggestion Description

When you compress gold either with K or just in the crafting table, the first recipe is the Ancient Gold block, which is not uncraftable back into gold ingots (using latest version 4.0.9).

Would it be possible to change the first selected recipe into normal gold blocks? If not, is there a way to add a recipe that would let the ancient gold blocks be back-crafted into 9 ingots? I'll probably try to find it in the configs, but could be a minor fix to keep in mind for the next update.

Personally one of my favorite modpacks so far. I love quests and just pure chaos kitchen sink packs. I see all the updates and work going into it. Thank you for continuing to refine and improve this pack! I haven't had this much fun in a kitchen sink since MC Eternal.

I am not sure if there is a way to change the crafting order, but I have made some tweaks to the recipes.

Now gold block recipe looks normal.

The ancient gold block crafting recipe will be like this.

The conversion into gold blocks or ingots will also be possible.

I was running a single player game open to LAN, but for some reason after a couple hours I still run out of memory even using the recommended settings. 12gb yielded poorer results, instead freezing my whole PC in a couple hours instead of crashing.

My solution was to run a server. It's much smoother. There is still the odd crash now and then, as the server increases in ram over time. I may have to just upgrade to 64gb at some point (currently running 32gb).

I'm just like you though; I love having as many mods as I can get. I'll be back with more reports and suggestions over time and hopefully I can be of some use as you fine-tune things.
