mod version is 2.8.4

I went to throw my ender eye and it doesn't throw. I do /locate betterstrongholds:stronghold command and it says nothing is nearby. I go to another world and do the same things and the pearls dont go & no end portals nearby.

I dont get it? I see videos and people have ender portals and my pearls wont even throw. I would appreciate if somebody knows how to fix it so I can continue my surv world
