Industrial Revolution pipes (all tiers) reset their connection sides after interacting with a barrel next to the them!

Which ever way you configure the pipes they always reset and reconnect with the barrel after you exit its UI.
I first noticed it in the server and then I tested and verified it in my SP world with all pipe tiers!
This behavior occurs with any barrel from any mod that has barrels and can be interacted with (MI barrels cannot be interacted)
The most simple fix to this is to replace the barrels with any of other storage blocks (chests, boxes etc.)
Running pack version 1.1.1 with Fabric MoD loader 0.12.5
