The suggestion
Allow Blockus' variant barrels to be crafted.
I looked at previous issues and saw that their recipes were disabled due to the barrels being broken at one point. One issue in particular seemed to imply that the recipes were re-added once the barrels were fixed; however, I still cannot craft them as of modpack version 1.1.5.
Why this should be in the pack
Variant barrels suit the aesthetics of some builds better than others, just like variant chests and crafting tables. For example, I'd much rather have the charred barrel next to my Modern Industrialization steel machines than a vanilla barrel because the grey-black color better matches the machines. Allowing the variant barrels to be crafted gives end users more creative freedom with their storage.
I am aware that, in All of Fabric 3 times, the devs held distaste for variants of crafting tables, chests, barrels, etc. for different wood types added by mods. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore, however, since BYG crafting tables are craftable once again, for example.
