Anytime I have tried the 1.2.0 and up packs my server becomes unplayable because of the amount of lag that is created but I have no idea what is creating it or how to prevent it.

Remove Charm from server and client and let us know if that works out. It is removed on our servers and seemed to fix most of the issue.
