TR has two different Oil Cells, one containing TR oil, and one containing Ad Astra oil, you can't tell which is which immediately, but the Ad Astra one doesn't work with the TR Distillation Tower.

I don't think Ad Astra oil and TR oil are that more or less difficult to get, so maybe just unite the fluids?
