Tech reborn basic machine block requires plates. As you know, and is mentioned in the achievements that the plates cannot be created w a compressor due to the plates being in the compressors recipe. It is mentioned to use the hammer from MI. The problem is that it also has plates in the recipe. I saw that you can create the plates using the smeltery from Hephaestus, so i went that route, getting as far as creating the iron large plates for the hammer. Although the plates that you create don't match the recipe. Int he JEI tooltip for the recipe, it shows the casting of the molten iron creating the MI plates but it creates the Hephaestus plates instead. U just need to update the recipe to accept the Hephaestus plates to fix this issue. Also add the better combat to let the added weapons function properly.

Added the better combat mod to let the added weapons function properly. Other wise they just act like non weapons. but that's a whole other issue.

You can make plates in the MI Forge Hammer without a hammer item; it is just less resource-efficient to do it that way.
