What happened?

everything mentioned below happened after updating to 1.22 from 1.20 where only copy-paste gadged gui was blurry.
everything was fine on 1.20

when opening escape menu it just shows a blur out game background no buttons are visible but can click on them if i know the position.
also when using the gui to position the copy-paste gadget it shows a blur out background button visible a bit.
additionally same blur out game background happens when opening the settings from the ftb chunks to enable the minimap and the death markers.
