What happened?

Once you create the Boundary of Life spell, if you leave the area, even with chunks force-loaded and in my case, spawners set to spawn without players in range. The spell will stop damaging the mobs and your mana will drain down to 0 as if the spell is still working even though it is not damaging mobs anymore
