What happened?

I set up as jei says 4x cobble deepslate with a 1 reinforced obsidian in the middle and extractor on top with output as drawer (images below) and no output for grains of infinity and also i found it doesn't work with the dragon egg

I also tried to set it up a few wrong ways to see if it was just wrong here are those

Put the extractor below the obsidian My previous statement is wrong and I just noticed it, my bad.
@FeenieTheFeenus is correct though, I checked.

There has to be a flame underneath the obsidian block. It's invisible in the jei recipe, but it's there if you hover underneath the obdisian block. Lighting a netherrack block on fire underneath it should do the trick.
