What happened?

I noticed this issue in 2.10, and recently updated to 2.16 and am continuing to have an issue. I have a bow with endless quiver, and a quiver. When I go to switch arrows, I get kicked out of the server I'm playing on entirely and have to rejoin. This first happened while I was in the nether, but it happens in the overworld too. I've been kicked four times from the server now, but do not currently have an image of the pop up that comes when I get kicked out of the server. I have no additional mods to the pack, and am constantly updating with the modpack. When 2.16 came out, I had hoped it'd be fixed, but nada.
