What happened?

The GUI slot to insert bee cages to advanced beehives not working or showing at all, The previous ones I had before still show up with the slot for cages but if I replace or put them back down it disappears.
I tried reinstalling pack and it still doesn't work even on New World or creative.
The block doesn't show up either in hand when holding it.

I might be mistaken but doesn't that slot only appear if you have a simulation upgrade installed on the hive since that would be the only way to get the bees in and out of the hive.
