What happened?

I decided to try out the infusion pylon and easily got several potion effects including "Flying" and several other damage reduction ones.

As long as the pylon it chunk loaded as with using FTBChunks I can Creative Fly anywhere in the game including other dimensions basically giving cheap flight and several other broken effects indefinitely. This also works with all the OreSights, so I can easily setup a Infusion Pylon in the mining dimension and never lose AllTheModiumSight so long as the Pylon is turned on for the duration I'm in that dimension.

The quest for it states "the set Chunk area." So I'm assuming this was not the intention.

Oh, thats is for a long time already

If you use the Iron's spells and spellbooks "heartstop" effect with this pylon you are literally invincible as long as you keep the effect in there.
