This looks like a serious Launcher issue.
Our updates are never able to delete saves.

Please use well tested launchers like CurseForge/FTB App or Prism, never use cracked launchers.

@pietro-lopes I am using CurseForge. I found out what happened to my save files
Every world is in the folder safe and sound, but they are missing one crucial part, the level.dat file, so although it cotains all of player data, its missing the world itself. and unfortunately its not where to be found in my files (searched the entire disk for them)
