What happened?

I have some birch advanced beehives and expansion boxes from productive bees. After updating to 4.6, each time I try to put the simulation upgrade into Beehive, the game crashes with the message "Connection Lost - Network Protocol Error."
I'm playing single player mode only. No other modifications.

don't share expansion boxes between hives

Ok - that seems to fix the problem. I've used exchanging gadget to place beehives and expansion boxes before. Placing them manually solved that issue.
