What happened?

Pack version: 4.10
Environment: Dedicated Server - Linux

Since installing 4.10 I've been having issues with the server memory getting full while people are offline.
I've upped the server max ram to 16Gb, and it lasts a while, but as we write this, its gone from 20% to 58.2% in a couple of hours.

I came back after a couple hours and the server took forever to log into, I did a TPS just as I was logging on and got the attached image. For some reason the compact_world dimension is going crazy, once I was online it went back to normal, but if I was offline for another 30-45 minutes it would have timed me out trying to log onto the server and the server would just hang.

Common issue with compact machines or hyperbox

To prevent this, I think they need to be chunkloaded all the time on both sides of the dimensions.

Also the log you shared doesn't look like something critical, the values decreased again.

If you have a full log that you maybe even crashed with out of memory, please share.

I'll look for the one where it crashes because of out of memory

wow something was weird on that one, you had too much ram usage already at the begining.

Did you have too much forceloaded chunks or something?
Is this a modified pack?

its a stock pack, there is a minecolony with over 200 villagers

it looks like its in large part the compact machines, the server was up to 100% memory usage. When I connected to the server - i just failed to connect twice, but finally the compactmachines dimension got itself under control and I was able to connect and the memory usage went down to about 11gb used, rather than 16... still more than I'd expect. I'll keep an eye on my server and report back in a few days.
