What happened?

I had equipped the Floaty to my inventory with a quick equip rightclick from toolbar and flew/swam in the sky and gained speed so quickly that it started to ramp infinitly and sent me into unloaded nothingness almost instantly causeing the game to crash

Yea experienced the same thing and got sent 100s of thousands of blocks and crashed. I was just looking it up to see if it was mentioned. When I loaded back in I was back home but still was a little scary my y was like 141,000 and x was like -22,000. I can kinda recreate it guessing it would be easy to recreate yourself.
