What happened?

i cant seem to chop down trees in one go that are from a different biome . yet any default trees (oak forest/spruce forest/birch forest you get the idea, work just fine and get chopped down in one go.

i tried adding a mod that would allow me to chop down any modded trees only for it to not work... and uninstalled it.

please help. its quite annoying now
