Cannot enter demon realm of bloodmagic mod

I'm not sure whether I operate it wrong or it's a bug, so I submit a 'Question' instead of bug.
I'm playing ATM6-S on a server. After building the ritual 'Edge of the Hidden Realm', it turns the middle blocks into a pillar. However right clicking the pillar does not work. I've tried this in local creative mode and the problem reproduced.
Is it because the bloodmagic or the mod conflict?
BTW I upgrade the version of bloodmagic to 3.1.7 because ver.3.1.4 has another bug which would make client quit when using achemy table.
My versions:
minecraft1.16.5
ATM6-S 1.2.0 (shown by launcher)
forge 36.2.20(shown by launcher)
bloodmagic 3.1.7(used to be 3.1.4 in the modpack)
