Unable to pull anything out of an Energizing Orb

As above I am unable to find anything that is able to pull an item out of the inventory of the Powah Energizing Orb despite seeing old videos and pictures of this being possible.

I have tried using Refined Storage, Mekanism, and even just base Minecraft Hoppers. Items go in but Im not able to pull them back out again.

Im on version 0.4.25

No idea what changed however everything is now working

Tested with Minecraft Hoppers, Factory Hoppers, and Refined Storage.
