i just installed the pack and when i went to load up the game it crashed with an i/o error and ive tried repair and reinstall and still got this same crash

all 3 crash logs should help you determine the issue but im going to try to uninstall and reinstall again

just happend agian but this time the loading screen actuly showed the progress bar moving

and if you are curious i have ryzen 9 5900x rtx 2060 super, 32GB ram, and dedicated 12GB ram to the profile

seems to be a different toml file each crash from the glimpes i took at the crash logs

Based on every error being it trying to save the mod configs to disk, wherever you installed the modpack it seems minecraft doesn't have permission to write there

it should be trying to write to my c drive bc that is where it was install but do you think it could be due to minecraft launcher now being install from the microsoft store?

other modpacks load just fine btw

seems to be a forge issue cause even with the latest forge it still crashed and when i followed this thread to change the forge-client.toml to true then let the game load up and start playing music then closed out and reset it back to false it seemed to have fixed it for now hopefully next forge update can fix this wierd issue. closing this for now but if something come up feel free to reopen this thread
