Pipez’ pipes are very slow, even with the Netherite upgrade, which is the highest-tier upgrade aside from the creative upgrade, which requires an ATM star. I feel like they should be faster when you’ve upgraded them with the highest non-instant upgrade. They only transfer 130k FE/t, 64 items/t, 10,000 mB/t, and 40,000 mB of gas/t with the Netherite upgrade.

I think this should be changed to keep up with cables from other mods. At ultimate tier, for instance, Mekanism’s cables can transfer 3.27M FE/t, 32k mB/t and 256k mB of gas/t, which are a lot more than Pipez’ pipes with the Netherite upgrade, which is harder to get than the ultimate cables. However, Pipez’ pipes have better filtering options, and you can transfer multiple things with the universal cable, so it’s not always ideal to use Mekanism’s cables, which is why it’s such a shame that Pipez pipes are so slow. The only thing Pipez does faster than Mekanism’s ultimate cables is items (64 items/t vs. 6.4 items/t).

I think the transfer speed of Pipez pipes in the default server config should be changed in ATM7, to something closer to Mekanism’s ultimate-tier cable speeds (so something like 3M FE/t, 32 buckets per tick, and 256 mB of gas per tick), so that Pipez pipes don’t fall behind so heavily in comparison with other cables. Increasing the speed of the item pipes to 2 stacks a tick would be nice for the Netherite upgrade as well, but it’s the other pipes that are falling behind the most. Even increasing Pipez pipe speeds to half of Mekanism pipe speeds would be a great improvement.

+1 to this honestly. I play many other packs too that dont buff the pipez mod. It most certainly HAS to be buffed to be used with mekanism reactors if mek cables arent available. If they arent buffed I practically find them completely useless until the creative upgrade is made.
