[ATM7-0.4.30] Scroll wheel sensitivity is extremely high when using scroll wheel to move items from chest.

When you use the scroll wheel to move items from a chest to you inventory 2 items are moved instead of 1. If you turn your scroll wheel sensitivity down, the issue transitions from moving two items at a time to sometimes moving two items and sometimes moving one. If you turn it down low enough (0.01 the lowest it will go) it eventually works normally. Further when at the default value (1.00), using the scroll wheel to move items from your inventory to a chest just does not work correctly. It will move a single item, and then just stop working. Sometimes it will move that single item back to the inventory if you continue scrolling. It is extremely inconsistent. If you set your mouse wheel sensitivity low then other mouse wheel uses are broken, like changing tools bar selection.

Both issues seem to be related to the mouse wheel sensitivity. I checked the previous version I had been playing (0.4.20) and the scroll wheel worked normally.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a chest with at least one stack of item
  2. Hover the mouse over the stack of items
  3. Scroll down to move items from the chest to your inventory

Expected outcome : Items will move from the chest to your inventory one at a time.
Actual outcome : Items move from the chest to your inventory two at a time.

  1. Open a chest with at least one stack of items in your inventory
  2. Hover the mouse over the stack of items in your inventory
  3. Scroll up to move items from your inventory to the chest

Expected outcome : Items will move from your inventory to the chest one at a time.
Actual outcome : Extremely inconsistent. Generally one item will move, and then it stops working.

In both cases turning down mouse wheel sensitivity "fixes" the issue, but causes problems with other parts of the UI.

Same for me. My mouse wheel will often move two items at once. It is also grabbing patterns out of my crafter manager which hasn't happened in the past.

Looks like the inventory profiles mod also implemented scroll wheel functionality which is causing an extra item to be moved each time and a whole stack while shift is pressed. You should be able to disable it in one of either the mouse tweaks configs or inventory profile.

I can confirm. Changing the WheelTweak setting to 0 in the MouseTweaks.cfg config file resolves the issue. Once that is set, you can return your scroll sensitivity to 1, and scroll wheel functionality be be as expected.

Correction: Inventory Profiles Next does have a config under the Mods config where you can simply remove the hotkeys for scrolling up and down. This enables you to continue to use Mouse Tweaks if desired, and not have to lose the Inventory Profiles Next functionality.

Turning off the WheelTweak on Mouse Tweaks does indeed work for me, however it's also unfortunate Inventory Profiles mouse wheel support is not as robust as Mouse Tweaks. Inventory Profiles doesn't have a config option to turn off the mouse wheel scroll feature, so I have instead opted to just remove Inventory Profiles from the pack on my local machine.

This is also happening for me. I don't believe this was happening prior to 0.4.30. The mouse tweaks mod version hasn't changed, so something else must have.

Disabled Mouse Tweaks scrolling in 0.4.31.
