I've tried using allthemodium potions and charms as well as unobtanium potions and charms and you can't see the ores.

Most YouTubers I've been watching recently actually have the same issue too.

You may need to remove or turn off the charm, wait for the effect to expire, then turn the charm back on in order for the sight to work properly, each time you change dimensions and still want to use the sight effect.
