Trying to use a stone cutter pattern with the Mechanical Saw, but sending a request simply jams the autocrafting computers, causing it to wait forever while nothing happens on Create's side.

The stonecutter pattern is specifically for stonecutters, you probably need a regular processing pattern for Create machines.
