Cant connect to example.com, so the server wont start. How to fix?

I really do not care that i cant connect to the one site in existence nobody ever actually goes to

how do i bypass the requirement to connect to an arbitrary and useless site and let my server start?

In server-setup-config look for checkOffline and change it to false
