The infusion altar will not work. Followed instructions to the T. The altar does not take item correctly and when "started" with a button nothing happens

I'm assuming you were having the same issue I was where you would place the seed base on the altar and it immediately pops off. It's certainly buggy, and I found a workaround in the meantime by switching a couple steps:

1. Place all supporting items on the pedestals surrounding the altar
2. Apply the redstone signal (I found a redstone block underneath the altar to be convenient)
3. Then place the seed base in the center.

Sometimes it'll take a couple of tries, but doing it in this order seems to work.

Unfortunately that did not work for me. I'm fine waiting for the fix to come along. Thank you for the suggestion though!! I'm sure someone will find it useful!

Use a hopper above the main altar and place your seeds inside, place the surrounding items, then press a button to create the seed

thats what worked for me, my seeds were popping off too but i managed to get to craft seeds using this method
