JADE/WAILA shows a sucessful mine, however, the ore will drop nothing....

Not exactly a fix, but the Ars Nouveau break spell with amplify and extract, can "mine" the ore. (not sure if extract is necessary)

Also not a fix, but the mining gadget will drop stuff as well
