i get "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection refused" when trying to connect to a lan game only while using this group of mods. when i go back to vanilla no issues. im not sure which mod would be causing it. i did try to flush dns etc just to make sure but no luck. the other PC will almost connect but says joining world and fails. on the "server" it shows player joined and quit almost instantly.

No I did not. I just run a server version and connnect to the server( localhost for me and my ip for others.

Thanks for reporting this issue, however, ATM7 1.17 is no longer being supported by the team and will no longer get updates. If this issue is still happening in ATM7 1.18.1 please let us know in a new issue.
