I was just wondering if there is a setting/mod already included to allow a single player to sleep at night time.

My wife loves to explore and always asks me to sleep when it gets darker but doesn't want to take a bed with her as this will reset her respawn point every night.

She could bring a sleeping bag instead of a bed, that won't set a new spawn point.
There is also a gamerule to set the percentage of players online that need to sleep in order for it to turn day: /gamerule playersSleepingPercentage
