So today i got the io.netty disconnect issue and figured out a quick workaround to join.

The issue has something to do with cpw inventory and minecolonies because the following steps letting me join the server again without getting kicked:

1. Stop the Server
2. Go to "SIMPLE-SERVER-FILES-0.2.44\setup\world\minecolonies"
3. Delete the folder "minecraft" and the file "colonies.dat"
4. Replace the files from step 3 with files from a backup zip in this folder. (Pick a date where you joined without problems)
5. Start the Server
