After the latest update the durability when attacking mobs is very low. for golden sword its 2 hits until it breaks. Iron sword is about 10ish. iron axe the same as sword and all other iron tools are 8ish hits. The tools durability is fine when not hitting mobs. Even enchanted weapons with unbreaking break within a few hits.
