Hello! Recently getting back into minecraft with this mod, and I noticed i'm having TERRIBLE fps in my single player world.
I have a:
GTX 3060TI "usage staying at 20-30%"
11th Gen I7-11700k "10-20%"
32gb ram -- Upping the ram to 12000 in the game to utilitze more

and yet for some reason my FPS is still terrible. we're talking 30-40fps

with those specs are you running windows 11.....if so you may have a driver issue...update the system and drivers to see if it helps

@SlackerNet I figured out my issue and fixed it. Past that, on a world me and my wife made togeather we decided to start with requiring both of us to sleep. but we want to change the setting to require only one of us to sleep. do you know how to access that? and No im on windows 10 20h2

Seems like the cause of FPS drops is from the mipmap setting being too high. I turned mine off completely and went from 17 FPS to 80+.
(Looks like AMD cards have an issue with it?)

You can use /gamerule playersSleepingPercentage 1

So only 1% of palyers have to sleep until it gets day
