Game says "Saving World" and then crashes on multiplayer server

As the title says it doesn't matter what I'm doing in the game before it randomly gives me a screen saying "Saving World' and then crashing.
Three person server no optifine here and have the same error. Pretty consistent too.
Can reproduce. Bug is caused by various things for me, such as exiting the texture pack screen. Will return later with an error log.
