Minecraft Map defaults to incorrect state - defaults to chunk claiming mode instead of map, modpack 0.2.35+

From what I can gather, from another user posting this issue and it being ignored/marked as "will not fix," this started from version 0.2.35+ and is still happening on 0.3.3 (but was not happening on 0.3.1).
Reproduce: When you press "M" and open the map, it is default opening to the chunk claiming mode instead of the normal map.
To change it back, you just have to click the World icon, but the next time you hit "M" it goes back to the chunk claiming mode again.
This should be a simple fix, it looks like someone swapped the default state.
Honestly, I'm not sure why this is still open. I'm pretty sure this is on purpose since so many people use JourneyMap's map (J by default), and only use FTB Chunks for the chunk claiming/loading feature
I know the issue is marked as closed but I haven't found the way to change that (I don't mind changing that on the configs but I haven't found the place where it was modified).
Can we know what was modified to default to that state? Sometimes I find FTB's map more useful than JourneyMap, specially when searching mobs since it shows the names and has an increased detection range. Also, it shows all types of mobs and JM is skipping some (Enderman are some of the ones that don't show on JM)
For anyone finding this issue in the Future: It's a setting on Journeymap Integation found in jmi-client.toml
config.
