Hello, I wanted to update my JEI rows/columns since I have a 1440p monitor but it will not respond. I check to see if the JEI config file was actually updating and sure enough it was. I also checked other settings to see if they would change but no luck. I don't know if it's just me or there a different ways to change it.

On 0.3.7 as well ... It did allow me to change my JEI # of rows here fine, to 25 ... though I had to 'back' out (not escape) and Save (in JEI menu) to get it to stick. It has stayed at the changed 25 through a complete restart as well. I've not tried with # of columns, however, still at the default 9.
