My main suggestion is to change the default sort key for the pack to something else instead of R, such as middle-click (which most older inventory sorting mods used by default). On the Discord, there are at least a few people most days that end up asking how to change the sort key off of R

I would also suggest enabling the "sort inventory under cursor" option, which when combined with the sort key being middle-click would more closely match the default Inventory Tweaks behaviour from older Minecraft versions that people would be used to

Another recommendation would be to disable the buttons in AE2 (and maybe Refined Storage, but I don't personally use that one, so I don't know if it's an issue there) screens like you did with Mekanism
