Minecolonies Guard/Archer issue

Since updating from version 0.3.18 to 0.3.20 I've noticed an issue with the minecolonies archer guards, they keep requesting a bow even if they already had one before the update and if you give them a new one they acknowledge that they have a new one for a few seconds and then request that you give them another.
Thought it might be because the bow was enchanted but even after giving them a plain old bow they would acknowledge or detect that they have a bow in their hand or inventory.
Tried pausing and restarting them via the guard tower, then fired them and rehired them back after like a minute and that didn't seem to do much. Even the /minecolonies colony requestsystem-reset command made no differeance.
Looks like minecolonies is aware, we'll keep an eye out for updates

yeah just checked there, got slightly sidetracked trying a few things that didn't help in the end.
