Cannot connect to private server ATM7 due to 'Cannot invoke "Object.getClass()" because "$$5" is null'

Hello all,
Since yesterday I cannot connect to my own private server due to a message Cannot invoke "Object.getClass()" because "$$5" is null
Yesterday the version was .20 and today I upgraded it to .21 but the issue still persists.

What seems odd to me are these error messages;
