Polonium Pellets and Plutonium Pellets in Mekanism have the same crafting recipe. It only gives you Polonium Pellets.

Recipe for both is:
In a pressurized reaction chamber -
Input 1 - Water
Input 2 - Polonium
Input 3 - Flourite Dust
Output 1 - Polonium Pellets (What it actually gives you) and apparently Plutonium Pellets (I don't get it)
Output 2 - Spent Nuclear Waste
Input 2 is Polonium for Polonium Pellets and Plutonium for Plutonium Pellets, they are separate recipes
