Are you doing tier 1 ore processing using only Enrichment Chamber?

If so, It seems tier 2 ore processing is hard to clog.

1. Purification Chamber makes '2 Iron Clumps' from 1 Raw Iron (which can be mined with normal pickaxe without Silk Touch enchantment) and Oxygen.
2. Crusher makes "2 Dirty Iron Dusts" from '2 Iron Clumps'.
3. Enrichment Chamber makes 2 Iron Dusts from "2 Dirty Iron Dusts".

I'm not sure, but I think that the balance change comes from the author of the Mekanism mod (because some people want a config option to change that balance on Mekanism reddit)

As you can see, I put one chunk in the enrichment chamber and this chunk is not processed. If I increase the number of chunks to 3, the processing starts. The same with the Factory. A single chunk is not processed. Processing only starts with the third chunk.

Now the problem: Imagine your Quarry fills your Basic Factory and you distribute the chunks to the individual slots. Now, however, two chunks always remain in the input and are not processed. Subsequent chunks from a different material are not processed because two chunks, e.g. copper, always occupy the slot.

Is this really due to the ratio in Mekanism? Is a single chunk processed in your chamber or do you have to have at least 3 chunks in the machine? If so, and it's not a bug, this is a really stupid change.

Yes it's working as intended to balance the change to raw ore chunks, besides the enrichment chamber only does a 1.3x multiplication for raw ores and that is not ideal for log term use, that is why you upgrade the machine and/or build a lot of machines, that or use silk touch, but that is out performed by fortune 3+ via the mekanism ores route. There are other ore processing methods available in this pack, and you are not limited to mekanism however.

But yes, the enrichment chamber costs 3 raw ore to operate.
