Using the Vertical Slab Variant from the framed blocks mod, you can see through all blocks at the transparent parts of the vertical slan. Image here:

This is a known issue (XFactHD/FramedBlocks#282) and a duplicate of #1505.

I'm still investigating why this happens and whether I can fix it. For now, the only known fix/workaround is to remove Oculus. This however only fixes it for non-translucent blocks, things like water and stained glass still vanish behind the placement preview. If you can live without the placement preview for now, then you can of course also take the nuclear option and disable it in the client config.
