Slight recipe tweak needed. The hammer + ingot makes 1 plate and adds damage to the hammer. Fine, all good. But the recipe only works with an undamaged hammer. You get one plate and then need to make another hammer....

Unless this is intended and should be pointed out in a quest text that tells you to make a few plates this HARD way and then make a press of some kind.
