When a chest from Sophisticated Storage is connected to an Integrated Dynamics network using an Item Interface there is strange behaviour that can result in the loss of items.

From a Storage Terminal we can see the storage space of the chest is added to the network as expected and items are accepted by the terminal and are retrievable via the terminal. However, putting items into the Storage Terminal does not cause them to be placed in the chest correctly, they are not visible or accessible from chest itself. If the chest is broken or removed from the network all items the network considers to be stored in it are permanently lost.
