While placing the Shingles I tried to use the Wand from Create and found that when copying the placement it will randomize the shingles that are placed. It will change the top and bottom combo when placing the shingles. Also Sometimes when broken in the inventory it will randomize through all of the options similar to the JEI menu and you can place which ever block that is rotating through.
