To our conclusion it shows that when you have a Sophisticated Storage chest with a stack upgrade (in my case tier 4) and you hook it up to your Refined storage system you can duplicate resources by making for example blocks of gold. It uses the whole stack to make the blocks, at least the Refined storage system thinks that, but only deducts 64 items out of the chest.
